What documents and quarantine rules apply?

TL;DR:Complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 72 hours; carry a passport (6+ months), correct visa or exemption, and proof of onward travel—no COVID tests, vaccination proof, or quarantine required.

From May 2025 Thailand requires the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) completed online within 72 hours before arrival; airlines and immigration will check it. Standard travel documents still apply: passport with at least six months’ validity, the correct visa or visa-exemption eligibility for your nationality, and proof of onward/return travel or accommodation if requested. There are no COVID-19 testing, vaccination or quarantine requirements for entry; hotel quarantine and mandatory insurance were removed. Airlines or immigration may perform routine checks, and failure to present valid documents or a correct TDAC can lead to denial of boarding or entry. Check the official Thai Immigration/Ministry of Foreign Affairs and your nearest Thai embassy for visa requirements and the TDAC portal before travel.
